015Vday jitteriness…?

So… vday's coming up and I'll be honest with you, I've never really been a fan of it. In the old days (back when I was partial to austerity and aversion/clearly lacking in the lurve department) I avoided it, if that was anyway possible when it's all you could see, everywhere, anywhere. Little cutout cupids adorned the mall, the carinderia, the barbershop across the street.
I'd tease couples I know tenaciously never thinking that someday some girly would come my way and change the meaning of Vday for me. Uh huh karma got me big time.
I'm still kind of broke, and I'm thinking… who's the freaking genius who made it to be the 14th, a day before payday? I'll knock the grlzzz out of him.
We celebrated Vday early; it was squeezed in on our 6th monthsary (6 months!).
We had an amazing dinner date, an amazing conversation (complete with some revelations), I was a happy camper, add in a bucket of chicken and 2 dizzying treat of chocolate truffle cake and soufflé and I was beyond chipper.
Probably one of the best dates we've had since we've been together.
On top of that, a great night where she gets to top me.
Officially vday's suppose to be tomorrow. And it's like a challenge to your romantic susceptibility. I'm gonna rely on my craftiness to get out of this one. Because well as much as I wanna send out a bouquet of flowers, I think I have to sell an organ for it (don't think I'm not ready to do that either, but I'm hoping for an artistic spark, in fact I'm praying for some right now!)
Cheers to those inlove and willing to celebrate it, which is what vday is all about isn't it?
